Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Lima
Arrival in Lima & Relaxation in the Capital
Once you land at Lima’s airport, a representative will greet you and take you to your selected hotel. After assisting with check-in and giving you essential information for your trip, the rest of the day is yours to relax or enjoy Lima’s world-renowned culinary scene.
Day 2 – Nazca Lines Flight
Nazca Lines Overflight & Coastal Journey to Paracas
Today, travel south along Peru’s scenic coastline to Pisco by comfortable first-class bus. Upon arrival, store your luggage and board a light aircraft for an unforgettable flight over the iconic Nazca Lines—enigmatic geoglyphs carved into the desert floor. Afterward, continue to your hotel in Paracas and enjoy a relaxing evening by the ocean.
Day 3 – Ballestas Islands Tour
Wildlife Expedition to the Ballestas Islands
Set out on a two-hour boat ride to the Ballestas Islands, rich in marine life. Listen to sea lions bark, spot colonies of seabirds, and keep an eye out for dolphins or Humboldt penguins. After your excursion, return to Lima by bus and enjoy your final evening in the capital.
Day 4 – Flight to Arequipa
Arequipa City Discovery & Historic Monuments
Catch a flight to Arequipa and settle into your hotel. Later, your guide will take you on a private city tour showcasing the elegant colonial architecture, the Chapel of San Ignacio, the majestic Cathedral, and the vibrant Santa Catalina Monastery. End the day with panoramic views of the city and Misti Volcano.
Day 5 – To Colca Canyon
Scenic Drive into Colca Canyon & Andean Landscapes
Enjoy a scenic road trip through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve. On the way to Colca Canyon, pass through surreal highland vistas and stop at the towering Patapampa Pass. Pause in the village of Chivay for lunch, with the option to soak in nearby hot springs before settling into your lodge for a peaceful evening under the stars.
Day 6 – Colca Canyon & Return
Condor Viewing at Colca Canyon & Return to Arequipa
Rise early and head to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint for the best chance to see majestic Andean condors soaring across one of the world’s deepest canyons. After this unforgettable experience, head back to Chivay for lunch and then drive back to Arequipa for the night.
Day 7 – Arrival in Cusco
Flight to Cusco & Altitude Acclimatization
Fly to Cusco and meet your guide for a short drive to your hotel in the historic center. Take it easy during your first day at altitude—sip coca tea and take a light stroll around Cusco’s main square to begin soaking in its charm.
Day 8 – Cusco City Tour
Historic Highlights of Cusco with a Private Guide
Today, explore Cusco’s cultural and historical landmarks. Visit the impressive Cathedral and Qoricancha, once the Inca Temple of the Sun. Later, venture to the surrounding hills to see the stonework marvel of Sacsayhuaman. Spend your afternoon exploring the markets or relaxing in the artsy neighborhood of San Blas.
Day 9 – Sacred Valley Exploration
Sacred Valley Tour & Train Ride to Aguas Calientes
Embark on a journey through the Sacred Valley. Stop at Moray’s ancient agricultural terraces, the salt flats of Maras, and the monumental Inca fortress at Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon, board a train that winds through the Andes to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy dinner and rest at your hotel before tomorrow’s big adventure.
Day 10 – Machu Picchu Guided Tour
Guided Exploration of Machu Picchu, the Lost City
Board the shuttle to Machu Picchu and meet your guide for an in-depth tour of this awe-inspiring citadel. Take in the mystical surroundings, snap your final photos, and return to Aguas Calientes for your train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, a driver will escort you to your hotel.
